Jeffrey W. Bradbury, CIH, CSP
Founder & Chairman
I am a dedicated and experienced Health and Safety professional with 15 years in the field, specializing in Industrial Hygiene and Safety. I hold a BS in Environmental Health from Illinois State University, where I also had the honor of returning to teach the Industrial Hygiene course. As a United States Army veteran, Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), and Certified Safety Professional (CSP), I have developed a deep expertise in OSHA standards and requirements designed to protect workers across various industries, with a recent focus on the automotive sector at Rivian Automotive.
Throughout my career, I have gained extensive knowledge and practical experience in managing hazards such as hazardous materials, respiratory protection, biological risks, noise, and emergency management. I have a particular passion for safeguarding first responders, working diligently to ensure their protection against the unique dangers they face, especially in emergency situations. My experience includes collaborating with OSHA compliance officers during inspections, investigations of complaints, and post-incident reviews, always striving to improve safety protocols.
I am committed to protecting not just workers but entire communities, with a focus on ensuring that safety practices align with the latest regulations and best practices. With a solid foundation in industrial hygiene and safety, I look forward to continuing to drive positive change in health and safety of first responders and our communities.
Shayne Whitehorn, ASP, EMT-P
Founder & Vice-Chairman
I am a passionate and dedicated Health and Safety professional with over 12 years of diverse experience spanning multiple disciplines. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Fire Protection from Western Illinois University. My career began as a first responder, where I served for eight years as a Firefighter Paramedic in both volunteer and professional capacities. During this time, I gained extensive real-world experience in a variety of specialties, including Tactical EMS, community paramedicine, incident management, hazardous materials response, and technical rescue. I am deeply committed to supporting first responder mental health and peer support initiatives.
After my time in emergency services, I transitioned into a formal safety role to take a proactive approach to protecting my community. I currently work in the agricultural industry, supporting grain and agri-chemical facilities across western Illinois and eastern Missouri. My expertise includes regulatory compliance, emergency response and management, and fostering a culture of safety within organizations.
I am driven by a steadfast commitment to ensuring that everyone goes home safely at the end of each day. This principle guides my work and fuels my passion for protecting those who dedicate their lives to keeping others safe. It is an honor to contribute to the safety and well-being of first responders and the communities they serve.
